It has come to my attention that someone named "Sammy Salami" or some such nonsense has implied that my Spintunes #5 Round 1 song "Goodbye Everybody" was partially stolen from another song.
I am not familiar with Mr. "Salami", nor am I aware of the existence of this "Fuel Fighters" musical ensemble that he mentions. And really, sir, why would you assume that I was familiar with such obscure source material as this? You will need to do much better than that.
But I did spend a few moments of my valuable time to look into the situation. It turns out that:
1) While both sections utilize a descending melody, mine actually goes up a half step before descending, which the Fool Fighters example clearly does not.
2) Both sections use the chords B-F#m7-E, my song goes back to the B with a passing A chord thrown in, while the Fig Farmers' lazy effort is content to stay on the E.
Therefore, I believe any reasonable jury would agree that these two musical sections are *completely* different and bear absolutely no resemblance to one another in any real or actionable sense. Now, Mr. Salami, when you figure out who I really *did* rip my song off from, drop me a line and we'll chat.

I am eating a delicious Pop Tart (tm) right now. The box says it's vanilla flavor, and yet it has little blue candy spider logos on it and red frosting, just like Spider-Man (Spider-Man is pictured on the box, as well), and so I am thinking of it as Spider-Man flavor. Yum.

BTW people - Not liking a song about zombies is one of the first signs of the zombie apocalypse. Way to go. I hope you stick around and shadow. Education is the first step in preparedness. Thank you rangerdenni.
